Historic 1919 Mathis-Trumpy, the Grand Lady, one of the last of the first Trumpys built is FREE to a good home! She is in critical need of restoration and sits at a dock in Satsuma Fl. She is 50 feet and in poor condition. Her hull (among other things) needs to be completely rebuilt. I have just two and a half months to find her a home. If anyone knows of ANY WAY they can help (brainstorming, refering me to people/resorces/sites, etc.) out PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE CONTACT ME! She was my fathers boat and he just passed away. I have no knowledge of boats and need the support of the boating community. I would hate to see this piece of history slip away. Jim Moores, of Moores Marine has visited the Grand Lady and has offered his support. Please see his article on her at: woodenboatrepair.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=39:save-the-1919-trumpy-grand-lady&catid=2:blog&Itemid=14There are a few more pictures listed on the Wooden Boat Rescue League web site at: www.woodenboatrescue.org/carview.php?view=313Please contact me at; thegoodsl@yahoo.com (814) 574 8688 Thanks, Katrina Posted January 28, 2009
